This Tournament is an official Qualifier for the 2025 Oregon Middle School Basketball Championships in Central Oregon

4 Games Guaranteed -- OSAA Refs -- 16 minute Stop-Clock Halves

Championship Shirts for winners of each division

$300 per team

($275 per team if registering multiple teams)

Registration will be confirmed once payment is received. Payment due by Friday, January 24th, 2025

We will play OSAA High School Rules except for the following:

16 minute stop-clock halves
3 Timeouts per game
2 Free Throws will be shot once a team reaches 8 Team Fouls in the half
OVERTIME
- 1st = 3 minutes
- 2nd = 2 minutes
- 3rd = sudden death
- 1 time out per overtime - no carryover
Game ball will be supplied by one of the teams and agreed upon by both coaches
Running Clock will be implemented once a team is up by 20 points in the final 5 minutes of the game. Once running clock starts, it does not switch back.

Pressing and Half-Court Defense Rules:

4th - 5th Grade Levels:

No Zone Defense - Man to man defense only in the half court (no trapping)
Help defense is allowed within the 3pt line, but defenders must recover to their man and be in legitimate guarding position. No deliberate double teaming.
Full Court defense allowed when score is within 20 points - must be man-to-man (no zone press or trapping)

6th-8th Grade Levels:

Man or Zone defense is allowed in half court
Full Court Zone and/or Trapping presses are allowed
No press once team is up by 20 points
We do strongly encourage teams to play man to man defense for development purposes
